Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Greetings from Orange City of India, Nagpur
It is indeed an honour to declare the 28th National conference of Indian Society for Study of Pain being organized at Nagpur, hosted by ISSP Nagpur city branch on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of February 2013. We are extremely pleased to invite you to NAGPUR, the second capital of Maharashtra, to be a part of this National event. It was way back in 1986 that Nagpur had the privilege of hosting the 2nd National Conference of ISSP. This is the second instance that we have been conferred with the opportunity to do so.
Nagpur lies practically at the centre of India with the ‘zero milestone’ indicating the geographical centre and is well connected with all parts of the country by air, rail and by road.
Nagpur was founded by the Gond King, Bakht Buland Shah on the banks of River Nag from where it earned its name to later become the capital of the Bhonsale Dynasty of the Maratha Empire. Surrounded by innumerable wild life sanctuaries and cited to be home to maximum number of tigers, has been aptly nicknamed as ‘Waghpur’ or ‘Tiger capital’ of India. Nagpur is recognized all over the country for its Hospitality and we wait with open arms to welcome you.
A congregation enriched with scientific deliberations, case presentations, panel discussions, video demonstrations and pre-conference live workshop on pain procedures by renowned international and national faculties would be the endeavour.
A veritable feast of academic and culture thus awaits you here in the form of ISSPCON2013.
We are eagerly looking forward to you, not only for profiting from the academic spree but also for enjoying nature, the forest and hospitality of the Nagpurians.
